The Appalachian Center for the Arts in Pikeville, KY invites you to step back in time with the APP Radio Hour! From December 13th through 22nd, relive the magic of a bygone era with a live production of the beloved classic, Miracle on 34th Street. Performances are scheduled for Fridays and Saturdays at 7:30 PM, with matinees on Sundays at 3 PM. This enchanting show brings the golden age of radio to life, complete with a live studio audience, immersive storytelling, and a festive atmosphere that celebrates the spirit of Christmas.
Join us as Kris Kringle’s story unfolds through heartfelt performances, charming sound effects, and the nostalgic charm of radio-style narration. Adding a local touch to this holiday tradition, the production also features talented regional musicians and variety acts, blending classic holiday storytelling with Appalachian artistry.
