What to Expect

This workshop offers a comprehensive introduction to bull riding, covering essential techniques and procedures. Here’s what participants will learn:

• Gear Explanation: Understanding the necessary equipment for safe bull riding.
• Ground Barrel Work: Practicing on stationary barrels to master the basics.
• Spinning Barrel Work: Enhancing balance and coordination on rotating barrels.
• Bucking Barrel Work: Simulating the experience of riding a bucking bull.
• Chute Procedures on Live Animal: Learning how to safely enter and exit the chute with a live animal.
• Optional Rides: At the end of the workshop, students will have the option to ride sheep or bulls, depending on their weight.

Additional Information

• Equipment Provided: All necessary equipment will be provided for the students.
• Snack Provided: Participants will be given a snack during the workshop.
• Free Admission: Students and their families will receive free admission to the Bull Riding Practice Pen event at the same location the following day, June 23rd at 2 P.M.
