Get ready for a weekend of fun, music, and moonshine at the Moonshine Festival in Pikeville, KY on September 15th and 16th. This exciting event is a celebration of the rich history and culture of moonshine in the Appalachians.
Organized by the Moonshine Music Makers, the festival promises to be a one-of-a-kind experience. You’ll have the chance to sample a variety of moonshine flavors, enjoy live music, and learn about the history and process of making moonshine.
The festival will also feature food vendors, craft booths, and a variety of other activities for visitors of all ages. It’s the perfect opportunity to experience the unique culture of the Appalachians and connect with the local community.
The Appalachian Moonshine, Music & Makers Festival will take place September 15-16 2023 in downtown Pikeville. Inspired by our shared Appalachian heritage, the Moonshine, Music and Makers Festival brings together the best in live performances, visual artists, food and beverages from across our region to celebrate the timelessness and beauty of the mountains we call home.
This festival is featuring original, handcrafted works of art with an emphasis on quality craftsmanship. Artists from all backgrounds are welcome to join.
Admission is free to the festival and the event will be held rain or shine. The official hours are Friday, September 15 from 12PM to 8 PM and 10 AM to 8 PM on Saturday September 16.
