Stephen King’s Misery – Presented by Artist Collaborative Theatre

The Artists Collaborative Theatre is ready to bring a night full of suspense as they perform Stephen King’s Misery live!

Stephen King’s chilling novel Misery has been adapted for the stage. This psychological thriller is a must-see for fans of horror and suspense, as well as anyone who appreciates masterful storytelling.

The play tells the story of Paul Sheldon, a famous writer who is rescued from a car accident by his number one fan, Annie Wilkes. However, things take a dark turn as Annie’s obsession with Paul and his work becomes increasingly dangerous. The play explores themes of obsession, power, and the blurred line between reality and fiction.

Misery is a thrilling theatrical experience that will keep you on the edge of your seat. The show will be playing at 7:30 p.m. on March 4, 3:00 p.m. on March 5, and 7:30 p.m. on March 10 and 11 at Big Sandy Community and Technical College’s Gearheart Auditorium in Prestonsburg; as well as at 7:30 p.m. on March 17, 18, 24 and 25 at the Breaks Interstate Park Rhododendron Conference Center.
