Gov. Buckner & Hatfield McCoy Presentation @ Big Sandy Heritage Center

Indulge in the legendary tales of Gov. Simon Bolivar Buckner with a captivating presentation hosted at the Big Sandy Heritage Center on Friday, April 19th, starting at 2 p.m. Presented by Don Elmore, this trek through Kentucky’s Civil War history will also include a must-see Hatfields & McCoys Feud exhibit showcase.

Step back in time as Don Elmore takes center stage, offering fascinating insights and untold stories about the iconic figures and events that shaped our region’s past. Located at 172 Division St. on the 4th floor, this engaging presentation promises to enlighten and entertain audiences of all ages.

But that’s not all! In addition to the riveting Gov. Buckner and Hatfield McCoy presentation, guests will have the opportunity to explore various exhibits from our Appalachian region’s past, including coal mining, railroad and US23 country music highway exhibits.
