Join us on Thursday, June 20th, as the Appalachian Center for the Arts in Pikeville, Kentucky, becomes the epicenter of Appalachian culture. From 6:00 PM onwards, the Mountain Grrl Experience will showcase the best of the region’s music and art, featuring Bluegrass Music Night and the 2024 Bloom and Soar Women in the Arts Mountain Grrl Arts Exhibition.

Bluegrass Music Night
From 7:30 to 9:00 PM, experience an evening of foot-stomping rhythms and heartwarming harmonies as these talented musicians bring the spirit of Appalachia to life. Coaltown Dixie, Mia Lequire and the Appalachian Aires, and Sarah Kate Morgan will take the stage, offering a blend of traditional tunes and original compositions.

2024 Bloom and Soar Women in the Arts Mountain Grrl Arts Exhibition
Before the music begins, explore the artistic talents of Appalachia’s women at the 2024 Bloom and Soar Women in the Arts Mountain Grrl Arts Exhibition. Starting at 6:00 PM, the exhibition will feature a diverse array of artworks that reflect the region’s culture. Don’t miss the Awards Ceremony at 6:30 PM, where outstanding contributions to the arts will be recognized and celebrated.

Admission is open to all, with a suggested donation of $10 to support the Mountain Grrl Experience and ensure its accessibility to all members of the community.
