The Appalachian Center for the Arts is Pikeville Kentucky’s premiere professional theatre in the heart of downtown Pikeville. In addition to professional theatre production and live music events, the Appalachian Center for the Arts also provides educational programs geared toward enhancing the arts in the region, with an array of programs for children and adults, such as Summer Camp at the App, and a masterclass series featuring actors from wildly popular broadway shows such as Hamilton. The Appalachian Center for the Arts’ production schedule includes a variety of genres, from classic plays to modern dramas and comedies.
