Get ready to “move it, move it” as Madagascar – A Musical Adventure JR. comes to The Appalachian Center for the Arts in downtown Pikeville. Presented by The Appalachian Center for the Arts, this fun-filled stage production brings the beloved DreamWorks animated story to life with music, comedy, colorful characters, and plenty of family-friendly energy.

Based on the smash DreamWorks animated motion picture, Madagascar – A Musical Adventure JR. follows everyone’s favorite “crack-a-lackin’” friends as they escape from their home in New York’s Central Park Zoo and find themselves on an unexpected journey to the madcap world of King Julien’s Madagascar.

Audiences will join Alex the Lion, Marty the Zebra, Melman the Giraffe, Gloria the Hippo, the penguins, and King Julien for a lively musical adventure packed with laughs, heart, and memorable moments for all ages.
