Who We Are – Pikeville-Pike County Tourism CVB
Pikeville-Pike County Tourism CVB (managers of TourPikeCounty.com) is a dedicated non-profit organization officially recognized by the state of Kentucky. Our primary goal is to serve as the leading voice and official marketing engine for tourism throughout Pikeville, Pike County, and the surrounding regions.
What We Do
Whether you are planning a weekend getaway, a family vacation, or a scenic day trip, we are here to be your ultimate guide. We actively market and promote the very best our region has to offer, connecting visitors with:
Hatfields & McCoys Historic Feud Driving Tour: Our Welcome Center is the founder and manager of the Hatfields and McCoys Historic Feud Driving Tour. We offer free directional brochures, and help visitors with getting their tour started. We also offer a audio CD/USB ($20 +tax) that works with the free brochure to narrate many of the feud sites, bringing the story to life.- Unique Experiences: Highlighting everything from thrilling outdoor adventures on our mountain trails to local dining and cultural events.
- Comfortable Lodging: Helping you find the perfect place to rest your head, whether you prefer a cozy cabin in the woods, a rustic campsite, or a comfortable hotel right in the center of the action.
While we do not operate any of these attractions or businesses (other than our own welcome center attraction), we offer free advertising services for them, with the goal of highlighting our region’s amazing attractions. We are funded by a 3% hotel tax that is automatically rendered from visitors who stay in our local hotels, so financially, our incentive is to bring people to our region to stay multiple days, to enjoy our local attractions, food, heritage and outdoor experiences.

As a Kentucky state non-profit, our mission goes beyond just pointing out landmarks. We strive to foster economic growth within our local communities by supporting local businesses, stimulating the tourism economy, and providing visitors with the resources they need to craft the perfect itinerary. We believe that once you experience the charm, adventure, and warmth of Pike County, you’ll want to return time and time again.
