The Big Sandy Heritage Center Museum features exhibits from throughout the Big Sandy region’s storied history, with perhaps the largest and most complete collection of Hatfield & McCoy feud artifacts on display.

There is a wealth of history to be discovered at the Big Sandy Heritage Center Museum. Come and see the tools utilized by our ancestors to tame the wilds of Appalachia. View artifacts from our history that both inspire and serve as a reminder of the costs paid and the mistakes made to shape the modern day world. Included in these exhibits are Hatfield McCoy artifacts, exhibits on Native American culture from our region, as well as Civil War artifacts.
