The Venue

Pike County, Kentucky features several venues that accommodate conferences and conventions of most any size. Let’s take a look at some of the available venues, and what they offer.

Landmark Inn

  • Offers comfortable lodging with 103 rooms, featuring your choice of either one king size bed or two double beds, Wi-Fi internet access, in-ground pool, remote control cable television and four channels of HBO.
  • Catering is available with beautiful banquet rooms and conference rooms with a seating capacity of up to 1000 people.
  • Hotel features a local favorite, the Top of the Inn Restaurant, with fine dining, live music and buffet.
  • Located within close proximity to the Eastern Kentucky Expo Center, the Hatfield-McCoy Feud sites of Pikeville City, and the Hatfield-McCoy River Tours.

Hilton Garden Inn of Pikeville

  •  7000 sq. ft. of banquet space is available, with rooms for breakout sessions.
  • Full catering services are available.
  • Also features a restaurant & bar, pool, fitness area and high speed internet.
  • A roof terrace area for dining with a scenic view.
  • 113 rooms with room service.

Hampton Inn of Pikeville

  •  Features 123 rooms with your choice of a plush, king-sized bed or two queens, with suites available.
  • Various meeting rooms are available, with the largest being 1056 Sq. Ft.
  • Amenities include a business center, fitness center, wired and wireless internet, breakfast and a swimming pool.
  • Located within close proximity to the Eastern Kentucky Expo Center, the Hatfield-McCoy Feud sites of Pikeville City, and the Hatfield-McCoy River Tours.

Brookshire Inn of Pikeville

  • Features 68 rooms with your choice of a king-sized bed or two full sized, premium Sealy beds, and handicap accessible rooms available.
  • Great location providing easy access to shopping, restaurants and entertainment.
  • Amenities include free continental breakfast from 6 a.m. to 10 a.m., guest laundry, vending areas, CableTV, free hi-speed internet service, fax and copy service.
  • Meeting room that seats 15-20 people.
  • Located within 8 minutes of the Eastern Kentucky Expo Center, the Hatfield-McCoy Feud sites of Pikeville City, and the Hatfield-McCoy River Tours.

Eastern Kentucky Exposition Center

  • 7,000 seat arena.
  • 26,000 sq. feet facility— 24,000 sq. foot arena floor, with 5,000 sq. feet of meeting room/ballroom space with sub-divisible walls.
  • Boardroom space for smaller meetings.
  • 3 Levels: event level, main concourse, upper level.
  • 5 concession stands around the main concourse level.
  • Full Service Food & Beverage Department.
  • Located within close proximity to the Hatfield-McCoy Feud sites of Pikeville City, and the Hatfield-McCoy River Tours.

The Garfield Community Center

  • This charming newly remodeled building is conveniently located next to the City of Pikeville Park.
  • Kitchen access is available for use.
  • The Community Center is available to the public for events, birthday parties, wedding receptions, meetings, banquets, showers, reunions, etc.,
  • Presentation equipment, such as a podium, power point projector, and projection screen is available for a small fee.
  • Located within close proximity to the Eastern Kentucky Expo Center, the Hatfield-McCoy Feud sites of Pikeville City, and the Hatfield-McCoy River Tours.
  • Seating capacity is approximately 80.

Breaks Interstate Park

  • Featuring beautiful locales, hiking, water trails, Splash! in the Park waterpark and the breaks canyon.
  • The Rhododendron Conference Center offers 5,595 square feet of meeting and banquet space.
  • The main conference area, a 4,477 square foot room can be used as one space, or can be divided into three smaller banquet rooms.
  • Catering service is available.
  • Selections range from finger foods and appetizers, to buffets, to plated dinners.
  • All meeting rooms are required to be rented for a minimum block of four hours.

Best of all, the Hatfield-McCoy River Trails are conveniently located within Pikeville City, with many of Pike County’s best hotels and conference centers located within very close proximity.

Breaks Interstate Park

Pine Mountain Trail
Pine Mountain Trail is one of America’s most beautiful scenic hiking trials, and is certainly a treasure worth discovering in Pike County. A segment of the Great Eastern Trail, Pine Mountain features more than 65 miles of primitive backcountry, complete with two shelters. Hatfield-McCoy Feud Sites
Most of the Hatfield-McCoy Feud sites are located in Pikeville/Pike County Kentucky, making our community a hotbed of legendary historic locales. Come and see the courthouse where the Hatfields were tried, the hanging site of Ellison “Cottontop” Mounts, or the home place of Randolph McCoy and his family. Big Sandy Heritage Center
