Over the past several years, Pikeville-Pike County Tourism CVB has been working with local partners such as Backroads of Appalachia, Pikeville City Tourism and others to bring car clubs to Pike County and the surrounding Eastern Kentucky region. These are no ordinary car clubs, however. Tourism officials have worked to bring exotic cars to the region, making for an interesting experience not only for the drivers, but also for our locals and visitors. Exotic car enthusiasts love driving the winding roads of Appalachia, with scenic views and challenging turns.

Typically when these exotic cars arrive, we invite our local car clubs and classic car enthusiasts to join in the fun by hosting a cruise-in. For our G Force Rally event, we held the cruise-in on Second Street in Downtown Pikeville, Kentucky. Hundreds of our locals and visitors from all over showed up for some good ole car fellowship. Pauley Hollow, a local bourbon and moonshine distillery was also tap to do tastings. Our second street stores were open as well, with Country Fine Swine BBQ and Bank 253 food truck vendors also being available.
