We are excited to welcome you to the Pikeville-Pike County, KY Welcome Center as we celebrate a momentous occasion—the 21st anniversary of the peace treaty signing between the Hatfields and the McCoys! This historic event, which took place on June 14, 2003, marked the end of one of America’s most famous feuds. Though the violence had ceased many years prior, this event was organized by the Hatfields and the McCoys in response to the 911 attacks, as a way of encouraging the country to unite together. Join us to commemorate this special day and explore our rich heritage through our exclusive exhibit.
