This stunning tribute to the Coal Miner’s Daughter herself showcases photos of Loretta Lynn throughout her legendary career, paired with ornaments that highlight the life and legacy of this iconic country music star.

The Pikeville-Pike County, KY Welcome Center

Located at 685 Hambley Blvd. in the historic Pikeville Flatiron Building, our Welcome Center makes for a perfect stop as you explore all that Pike County has to offer. You’ll find parking available in the nearby Hardee’s parking lot, across from the Pikeville First Baptist Church, or along the road beside the Flatiron Building. To access the Welcome Center, simply take the side elevator to the 3rd floor.

Visitors are welcome to not only view but also take photos of and with the Loretta Lynn Christmas tree, making it a wonderful backdrop for festive holiday memories. Whether you’re a local or a visitor from out of town, this unique display is a great way to honor Loretta Lynn’s lasting impact on country music and her connection to Eastern Kentucky.

While you’re here, be sure to explore the many other exciting exhibits at the Welcome Center. In addition to the Loretta Lynn Christmas Tree, you’ll find the US 23 Country Music Highway exhibit, which celebrates the rich musical heritage of this region, and the Hatfields and McCoys Feud exhibit, perfect for history buffs interested in one of America’s most famous feuds. You can also find valuable information for planning your trip around Pike County, with details on everything from scenic drives to local events.

Our hours of operation are Monday through Friday from 9 AM to 5 PM, with special Saturday hours from 9 AM to 3 PM until mid-November.
