Want to be on television? Kentucky Tourism, in collaboration with Miles Media, Pike County Tourism CVB, Pikeville Main Street Program, Inc., Pikeville City Tourism and Pikeville and Pike County government, will be producing a promotional video for Pikeville/Pike County, Kentucky, June 20, 2016. Two 30-second videos will be created, in addition to a five-minute commercial, which will be aired on television networks in West Virginia, Ohio, and Northern and Western Kentucky. The videos will also be used extensively online and in social media outlets, including kentuckytourism.com, tourpikecounty.com and visitpikeville.com.
Where You Come In
Minta Trimble, Pikeville Main Street director, along with Main Street board member Cody Johnson, are coordinating a special night of entertainment & BBQ, Monday, June 20, 2016 at the Billy Johnson Expo Stage, which will begin at 5:30 p.m. The stage is located off Main Street, at the East Kentucky Expo Center. Smoked BBQ sandwiches and chips will be sold for $5, with all proceeds going towards the revitalization of Pikeville Main Street. Entertainment will also be provided, featuring Thoze Guyz, Coaltown Dixie and Jason Goble.
This event is sponsored by Food City of Pikeville, which is located on Cassady Blvd. Food City will be providing the BBQ and chips for the event. General Manager Tim Collins, along with Food City staff will also be providing hospitality for the event as well.
