One of the highlights of the Hillbilly Days 2014 Opening Ceremony involved two famous feudists, “Devil Anse” Hatfield and Randolph “Ole Ran’l” McCoy. Well, at least their bear counterparts. The newest additions to the Artisan Alliance’s Bear O’ Fair Project is two large, feuding bears, featuring a rifle, pistol, feud-era outfits and even a pig to feud over. These statues are truly amazing, and are a welcome inclusion to an already beautiful collection of artisan bears that are situated throughout the City of Pikeville.
