Hatfield McCoy Heritage Day is an annual event hosted by Pike County Tourism CVB and the descendants of the feuding Hatfields and McCoys. This event highlights the unity between the Hatfield and McCoy families that was forged years ago, in light of the terrible feud that has become world-renown. The annual Hatfield McCoy Heritage Day Reunion is a 3 day-long celebration that includes live music, heritage tours, and educational presentations, that culminates in a memorial service at the McCoy Well in Hardy, Kentucky (the site of the infamous New Years’ Eve Massacre).

10:00 a.m.: Presentation of Cap Hatfield’s Autopsy

2:00 p.m. Tours of the Hatfield McCoy Historic Sites: Meet at the Pikeville-Pike County Visitors Center for departure. Tour of sites, placing wreaths on headstones, and some site cleanup.
