ACT Presents: Cotton Patch Gospel

Artists Collaborative Theatre presents: Cotton Patch Gospel, scheduled from May 9 through June 2, 2019, in Elkhorn City, KY.

About Cotton Patch Gospel

In this “greatest story ever retold,” many Bible stories we all know very well are presented in the unexpected setting of rural Georgia. Told through music and accompanied with a live bluegrass band, this show is unlike any other revival you’ve ever witnessed. This newly-spun Gospel tale includes such happenings as Herod taking up the role of mayor of Atlanta, the lynching of Christ by a group of local thugs, and of course, the rising again of our Holy Father. When the show sings that “Somethin’s a-brewin’ in Gainesville,” you can believe it’s the truth. Cotton Patch Gospel has received incredible reviews from drama critics and a broad spectrum of religious commentators alike.
