Hillbilly Days 2020 has been cancelled due to precautions pertaining to COVID-19. The City of Pikeville is looking into possibly rescheduling for Fall. Follow this website and our facebook page for updates.   Y’all be sure to come on down to Pikeville, Kentucky and enjoy one of the state’s largest festivals, Hillbilly Days! Since 1977, Pike County has been celebrating Hillbilly Days. This nationally known annual event serves as a fundraiser to benefit the Shriners’ Children’s Hospital in Lexington, Kentucky. Celebrating 36 years of Kevin Prater helping Shriners help kids, the Kevin Prater band will be hosting the Hillbilly Days Pike County Courthouse Bluegrass Stage April 16, 17 and 18, 2020. The Kevin Prater Band bases their sound on strong vocal harmonies.  Built around high trios, their style is reminiscent of the classic Seldom Scene and 1970's Country Gentlemen performances.
