There has been a lot of conversation (and buzz) about Pike County’s upcoming Hillbilly Trails! As we move forward with the completion of the trail, we wanted to share some permit pricing details with the public. Below are some details on the fees pricing, which will be used for upkeep, security and the cleaning of the trails, and to offset taxation in Pike County.
Pike County Motorized Permit Fees
Pike County Residents:
$10.00 a Year/per vehicle – Must have Pike County, Kentucky Driver’s License
Bordering KY Counties:
$25.00 a Year/per adult (Letcher, Floyd, Martin, & Knott)
Non-bordering Counties:
$50.00 a Year/per adult
Non -Resident – Out of County/State
$50.00 a Year/per adult
All: $15.00 a Year/Per Child 15 and Under Accompanied by Adult
All Military – Out of County/State
$25.00 a Year/per veteran – Must have Military I.D. Card or DD214
Wallet Card will be attached to Waiver Form with matching numbers, Stickers provided for all ATV’s with Permits.
Life of lease permit for any landowner that executes a lease with PCFC.
Rental ATV’s will adhere to same permit rules above.
Permits will expire 12 months after date of purchase.
