Feature Event: Free Guided Climbing for Beginners

Ever wanted to try rock climbing but didn’t know where to start? Breaks Interstate Park is hosting a free guided climbing event for beginners with Rock Dimensions on Saturday, June 20th.

This beginner-friendly event is a great opportunity to experience the park’s rugged cliffs with guidance from experienced climbing instructors. Whether you are new to climbing or simply looking for a memorable outdoor adventure, this is a great way to experience one of the region’s most scenic destinations.

Location: Amphitheater

After a day of exploring, unwind with Comedy Stories with Dora Wallace at the Amphitheater. Enjoy an evening of laughter, storytelling, and regional charm under the summer sky.

Early June Bonus: Meet Author Tony Scales

Saturday, June 6th & Sunday, June 7th

Visitors can also meet Tony Scales, author of The Breaks: The Grand Canyon of the South. Scales is a geology expert, historian, and writer who will be on-site to meet guests and share insight into the natural and cultural history of the park.
